Green Legacy Initiative
CGU is actively participating in a tree-planting initiative called the Origin Program, which spans across Africa and China. This program goes beyond the simple act of planting trees, as it aims to provide support for local communities and establish a carbon credit trading platform set to launch in late 2024. CGU is fully committed to ensuring the success of this program by monitoring the growth of the trees through an incentivized program for the local communities involved.
To ensure the quality of the carbon credits, CGU is focused on gathering high-quality data, ensuring traceability, utilizing satellite and drone imagery, and adhering to strict verification standards. Through the Origin Program, CGU is optimistic about a future where technology and nature work together to create a self-sustaining ecosystem, allowing future generations to thrive in harmony with the environment.
